The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) was delighted to host IUS KID as part of a warm and meaningful visit marking an important milestone in the institution’s journey.
The youngest members of the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo family, lovingly known as Naše Pčelice, visited the Rector of IUS, Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Kuşakcı, together with their teachers Alma and Maida, Coordinator Elma, and Director Nedžma Mašić-Alibegović. The Rector welcomed the children with great warmth and kindness, showing genuine care and respect for the youngest members of the wider educational community.
Organized on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of IUS KID, the visit carried a message of gratitude and reflected the noble purpose of education - to serve knowledge that is useful, meaningful, and applicable, and that inspires growth, maturity, and lifelong development. From preschool education to higher education, the visit symbolically highlighted the importance of becoming a lifelong learner and embracing education at every stage of life.
During the visit, the children, together with their dedicated teachers, presented the Rector with a special handmade gift, reflecting the sincerity, joy, and innocence of childhood. On this occasion, Director Nedžma Mašić-Alibegović also presented Rector Kuşakcı with the Key of the City of Sarajevo, a symbolic gift representing the warmth of home, dignity, hope, resilience, and coexistence, while also reflecting the openness and richness of Bosnian hospitality.
