The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) welcomed prospective students to its campus on Saturday, March 28, 2026, for Scholarship Testing and IUS Open Day 2026.
The event offered visitors a valuable opportunity to explore the IUS campus, discover its academic offerings, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of university life ahead of the scholarship test.
The scholarship testing also reflected the broader mission of the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo, whose rich scholarship scheme aims to support young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina in accessing quality higher education. By investing in talented and motivated youth, the Foundation continues to play an important role in making quality education more accessible and in encouraging the development of future generations.
Throughout the morning, prospective students had the chance to learn more about IUS faculties, study programs, and double diploma opportunities, while also speaking directly with current students and university staff. Designed as both an informative and inspiring experience, the event helped participants gain a clearer picture of their future academic path and the many opportunities available at IUS.
The Open Day program featured a variety of engaging activities, including guided campus tours, student club presentations, an information desk for visitors, meetings with student ambassadors, and opportunities to get to know individual study programs more closely. Guests also enjoyed the welcoming and dynamic campus environment through the IUS Photo Corner, refreshments, and informal interactions across the university.
As part of the event, IUS also organized an Instagram Photo Competition, inviting participants to capture and share their favorite moments from the day. This creative activity added an extra sense of excitement and engagement, making the event even more memorable for visitors.
By combining useful information, direct interaction, and a warm campus atmosphere, IUS Open Day 2026 gave prospective students an inspiring first-hand insight into life at IUS and served as an excellent introduction to the scholarship testing that followed.
