PhD students of the International University of Sarajevo have recently published a book entitled "Sustainability & Education: E-Learning Website".
This joint work prepared by Aida Bulbul, Adi Fišević and Emil Knezović offers a ready-to-implement solution on e-learning sustainability website applicable to any university.
Taking into consideration that sustainability has become one of the crucial aspects of modern development due to scarcity of resources and intense globalization processes; a need to integrate it into education by development of an e-learning website was recognized. This book puts a light on complementarity of three important concepts that are present in everyday life - education, sustainable development, and IT. It promotes an online approach to sustainable development teaching that leaves more space for research, planning, working with local community partners, and finally, implementing activities that have real implications on the sustainability.
