On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, during its official visit to Tuzla, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) delegation held a meeting with representatives of Bingo Group, further strengthening the University’s outreach to leading institutions and business partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The IUS delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Kuşakcı, Rector of IUS, and joined by Assoc. Prof. Muhammed Yasir Göz, Vice-Rector for General Affairs, and Mr. Jahja Imamović, Deputy Secretary General for Legal and Administrative Affairs, met with Mr. Senad Džambić, Founder and Director of Bingo Group.
The meeting was held in a warm and informal atmosphere, while its formal segment was marked by the presentation of honorary jerseys of the IUS Basketball Club “IUS Wolves” to the distinguished hosts. This symbolic gesture was followed by a brief but meaningful exchange on possibilities for future cooperation, including support for the IUS basketball club, internship opportunities for IUS students, and other forms of collaborative engagement of mutual interest.
The meeting also included Mr. Abdurrahman Uvak, owner of the company UVAK d.o.o. Tuzla, one of Bingo’s significant partners.
Although brief, the meeting represented an important opportunity to open dialogue with one of the country’s most prominent business groups and to explore areas of shared interest. In addition to discussing support for sport and student activities, the visit reflected IUS’s broader commitment to building meaningful partnerships with institutions and companies that play an important role in the economic and social development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Through meetings such as this, IUS continues to strengthen its ties with influential partners across the country while creating new possibilities for collaboration that connect higher education, community engagement, and institutional support.
