Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Bulent Arinc, paid a two-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr. Arinc gave a lecture to students of the University of Zenica during which he stressed that, B&H is a prototype of a multi-ethnic, multi-religious and multi-cultural life in the Balkans, and said that today, this country needs a political stability that can be achieved by the spirit of togetherness.
As basic principle of the Turkish policy in the Balkans, Mr. Arinc stated the ambition to build a region in which the rule of integration, cultural harmony and tolerance may exist.
Among other distinguished guests, the lecture was also attended by IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Özer Çınar.
