On Thursday, October 25, 2018, at the IUS Architecture Lab, another certificate award ceremony was held for the CNC Operator/Programmer Course organized by IUS Life - Lifelong Learning Center.
Mirza Zahirović from Odžak was one participant: “I think that we should have a few more practical hours after this training. But since I had no background knowledge, during the course I have learned solid basics to continue developing my skills.”
Dženis Hrelja from Sarajevo said that this program was for him a new experience and that he learned a lot: “I now try to practice more and continue developing my skills in this area. In my opinion the course was long enough to obtain good basics for working with 4-axis CNC machines.”
Meho Berbić from Ilijaš: “I did not have any experience of working with computer controlled milling and CNC machines. During the course I learned basics for using them and most importantly gained confidence to work on my own.”
This time too, participants praised instructor Adnan Škulj and thanked on quality transfer of knowledge and to organizers of this training.
CNC operator training which is organized at IUS Life once in two months is catering for the demand for such workers primarily in wood and metal industries. A significant number of participants of this course found employment in the furniture industry where there is constant demand.
Before the end of this year two more trainings are planned.
