Testing for Scholarships and IUS Open Day

Due to the great interest in scholarships and studies at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), university will organize testing for scholarships in the field of general culture and mathematics, which will be held on Thursday, March 20th, 2014, beginning at 12 p.m. Testing will be held in the premises of IUS.

By organizing this testing, IUS gives an opportunity to all young people to win a scholarship for a four-year education. Potential students will be tested in general culture and mathematics. Online registration for all participants of the testing is required. The candidates are entitled to participate in only one testing for scholarships. The test results will be published no later than 5 days after testing is completed, on the IUS website and on the bulletin board placed in the lobby of the International University of Sarajevo. Participation in testing for scholarship is free of charge.

The students who wish to attend the testing for scholarships and are not able to provide transportation for themselves, IUS will organize bus transport service from all major cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the obligation of having teachers from high schools accompany them during this trip.

Conditions for access to testing:

• Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region (Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia)
• Graduates of the highs schools, as well as other candidates who have completed the high school, regardless of their age
• Candidates are entitled to participate in only one testing
• Presenting of proper identification card is required

At the Open Day, IUS professors and assistants will hold a presentation about the three faculties and 14 study programs IUS offers, to all interested high school students and prospective freshmen students, their teachers and parents as well as other guests. Presentations will be held after the testing for scholarships, in the large amphitheater of IUS, beginning at 2 p.m.

The aim of the presentation is to provide onsite, as much information about the IUS and its work to all interested citizens, and in particular the possibilities for studying at the contemporary undergraduate and postgraduate studies the University offers.

During the Open Day, musical program will be prepared with participation of IUS students.
