IUS Rector Prof. Dr. B. Gültekin Çetiner was the guest on NTV Hayat’s live show “Moja zemlja” (“My country”) on September 3rd 2009. The show “Moja zemlja” is hosted by a popular and respected Bosnian journalist Mr. Adnan Rondić and is aired on NTV Hayat’s satellite program which is seen in Turkey, North America, Europe, Middle East and Australia.
During this one hour long show Mr. Çetiner talked about higher education in general and International University of Sarajevo. Our Rector also mentioned problems that IUS comes across in it’s work as well as our vision to become the leading higher educational institution in the Balkans.
Second part of the show was reserved for the talk about the Holy month of Ramadan and Rector’s reminisces about times spent in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. With the help of Miss. Ediba Rizvanbegović, IUS employee and Rector’s assistant who acted as an interpreter for the show, Mr. Çetiner was able to convey his thoughts to the broad audience.
