From May 3 to 5, 2011, International University of Sarajevo was honored to host a group of high school directors and professors from Republic of Turkey. During their three-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina guests were accommodated at the IUS Campus in Ilidza and had many activities planned for them.
Upon their arrival, guests were greeted by the Rector Prof. Dr. Hilmi Ünlü. Then, they proceeded with the trips to famous Bosnia and Herzegovinian cultural and historical spots Mostar, Blagaj, Pocitelj, Travnik and Sarajevo that were organized especially for them.
Guests were also given a presentation on IUS vision, mission and study programs by IUS Rector, Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Boşnak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeki Parlak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raşit Koker and ELS Director Mrs. Hilal Karic. They were also given a tour of IUS Campus premises by visiting laboratories and Sarajevo Research Centre whose construction is almost finished.
Guest, some of which are first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina and IUS, were delighted with the trip and expressed their best wishes for International University of Sarajevo and its management.
