The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) has taken another important step in strengthening its international partnerships through the formal expansion of cooperation with the Maarif Foundation.
In this regard, Mr. Hasan Topaloğlu, President of the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF), and Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Kuşakcı, Rector of the International University of Sarajevo, met with Mr. Mahmut M. Özdil, President of the Maarif Foundation, to officially confirm and formalize the further development of cooperation between the institutions through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This agreement marks an important milestone in the relationship between IUS and the Maarif Foundation and reflects a shared commitment to advancing education through international dialogue, institutional collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge and experience. By formalizing this expanded partnership, the institutions have created a stronger framework for future initiatives that can bring meaningful benefits to students, academic staff, and the wider educational community.
The Memorandum of Understanding opens new opportunities for cooperation in several important areas, including academic collaboration, student and staff mobility, joint projects, and knowledge exchange. Such forms of partnership are increasingly important in today’s higher education environment, where international engagement plays a key role in enhancing educational quality, encouraging innovation, and broadening perspectives for both institutions and individuals.
