The 5th International Science Symposium: New Horizons in Science was organized in cooperation with IUS on September 1, 2022. Scientists from 7 different countries took part and the event itself was held online. The aim of the symposium was to bring together scientists working in different disciplines, to ensure information interaction between disciplines and to attract the attention of the scientific world to multidisciplinary studies.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliye Fatma Mataraci, Dean of the IUS Faculty of Law, gave the opening speech and said that she was “positive that this symposium, although virtual, would be as successful as the previous ones and contribute to the accumulation of scientific knowledge with its conference proceedings and journal publications to follow”. She also thanked Prof. Dr. Cevdet Ekinci from Fırat Akademi-NWSA and Ms. Belkis Elyigit for all the hard work they put into the organization of International Science Symposium Series, thus making this important event possible.
Due to the fact that the event was held online, Prof. Mataraci invited the attendees for a virtual tour through a video of the University to get a glimpse of what IUS offers to its students and academic staff.
