The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) was proudly represented last week at the International Academic Week organized by the Ljubljana School of Business within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, further promoting the University and strengthening its international academic visibility.

Representing IUS at the event were Prof. Dr. Mehmed Ganić and Mr. Mesut Haskul, Laboratory Manager, who took part in a diverse international program held under the title “Innovation, AI, and Global Responsibility in Higher Education.” The event brought together participants from various countries for a week of academic exchange, professional networking, and discussions on current developments in higher education.

As part of the program, IUS representatives attended a series of workshops focused on contemporary themes such as innovation, artificial intelligence, and global responsibility in education. In addition, they participated in the one-day hybrid conference titled “8th Eastern European Conference on Management and Economics,” which created further opportunities for academic dialogue and the exchange of ideas with colleagues from different institutions and countries.

A particularly important part of the program took place on the first day, when IUS representatives set up a promotional stand at the international fair organized within the Academic Week. The fair brought together around 60 participants from 15 different countries, providing a valuable platform for presenting the International University of Sarajevo to a diverse international audience and further strengthening the University’s visibility in the wider academic community.

Participation in events of this kind reflects the University’s continuous commitment to international cooperation, mobility, and academic exchange. By engaging in Erasmus+ activities and international academic programs, IUS continues to build new partnerships, present its academic strengths, and create opportunities for future collaboration with institutions across Europe and beyond.
