Starting from September 23rd to September 30th, International University of Sarajevo began with its Student Orientation Program for the first-year students, designed to introduce students with IUS, its faculties and programs, rules and regulation of studies, support and administrative departments. During presentations, students learned about the academic life at IUS campus. Meanwhile they had opportunity to meet professors, administrative staff and other freshmen students, as well as senior students at IUS. These acquaintances will helped new students to adjust to the University. Student Orientation Program was coordinated by Student Consultation Center (SCC), with the support of junior and senior students studying at the faculties of IUS. Student coordinators were: Mrs. Rukiye Sündüz Gani and Mr. Yunus Demirbaş. Peer Counselors at the program were: Mrs. Naida Gego, Mrs. Sümeyye Fidan, Mr. Yunus Emre Eryılmaz, Mrs. Elif Bilici and Mrs. Indijana Šabić. Additional support to the Project was provided by Mrs. Hilal Karic, Director of the ELS, Mr. Mehmet Akif Yaman, Manager at the Student Consultation Center and Mr. Ismet Uzun, from Social Activities Culture Health Sport Department (SACHS), as well as Mr. İdris Hızır, Coordinator of IUS Istanbul Office.
