The IUS Faculty of Law Vis Moot team, represented by students Ajla Serdarević, Lejla Jakupović and Amela Tahirbegović along with their coach Fahira Brodlija, Adjunct Instructor at the IUS Faculty of Law, participated in the first Podgorica Pre-Moot. The event took place on February 26-27, 2022. The pre moot was organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro gathering students from the region and preparing them for the global rounds in April 2022. IUS participated alongside teams from Zenica, Tuzla, Banja Luka, Zagreb, Belgrade and Podgorica.
The IUS team participated in four rounds of pleadings arguing before panels of three arbitrators composed of arbitration lawyers and academics. Aside from gaining valuable experience and guidance, the students also created new connections with colleagues from the region.
The next stop on the road to the Vis Moot event will be Zenica for a new round of training. The Pre-Moot is taking place on March 15-20, 2022.
