The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) held its second scholarship exam today, welcoming prospective students from across Bosnia and Herzegovina who once again had the opportunity to compete for scholarships of up to 100% for their studies at IUS.
The scholarship exam provided students with a chance to demonstrate their knowledge and secure financial support for their first-cycle studies. Scholarships awarded through the exam are valid for five years, offering students and their families long-term financial stability and support throughout their academic journey at IUS.
Students took the exam for all six IUS faculties, aiming to continue their education in one of the university’s 18 study programs offered fully at IUS, or in one of the 21 Double Diploma Programs implemented in cooperation with four renowned universities in Türkiye.
Through its extensive scholarship fund, the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF) once again provided talented and ambitious students with an opportunity to pursue high-quality higher education at the best private university in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This continued support reflects SEDEF’s commitment to making internationally recognized education more accessible to students throughout the country.
IUS continues to strengthen its position as a leading higher education institution through its academic quality, international partnerships, student-centered approach, and national and international accreditations. These accreditations serve as an important confirmation of the university’s commitment to quality assurance, institutional development, and academic excellence.
The second scholarship exam also reaffirmed the strong interest of young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina in studying at IUS and becoming part of an international academic environment that connects Sarajevo with global educational opportunities.
With its scholarship opportunities, diverse study programs, Double Diploma Programs, and strong institutional support, IUS remains dedicated to empowering future students and helping them build successful academic and professional paths.
