The three-day event "Sarajevo Halal Fair", where 91 exhibitors from 14 countries were present, was held from September 27 to 29, 2018 in the center of Skenderija.
The International University of Sarajevo also had its own showroom, where PR and Career Center staff represented the university through the distribution of promotional materials, books, and direct communication with visitors.
It was an exceptional opportunity to present the visions, opportunities and rich offer of our university to guests from all over the world. Since our university was the only educational institution at the Fair, it speaks about the rating that we managed to achieve in the territory of BiH as well as in the region and the world.
At the Fair, many contacts were realized with regional producers of halal products and providers of halal services from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Macedonia and Albania, and with buyers and distributors from the European Union, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Malaysia, Bahrain, Libya and the United Arab Emirates. It was also an opportunity to explain to the interested parents of our potential students the specificity and the advantage of studying at our university.
The International University of Sarajevo has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Support with Bahrain officials, announcing a successful and mutually beneficial cooperation.
With its engagement at this Fair, IUS once again showed that it is among the best and most prestigious institutions in the world.
The fair, organized by Bosna Bank International (BBI) in cooperation with the Islamic Community in BiH and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), was concluded with the award ceremony on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
