Dr. Aliye Mataracı, program coordinator of the Social and Political Sciences of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), spent last two weeks of April 2017 on academic exchange at the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazit University (AYBU), as part of Mevlana exchange program. Dr. Mataracı held a series of lectures to students of this reputable Turkish university on several topics in her field of expertise.
During her visit to capital of Turkey, Dr. Mataracı was able to attend two conferences: “60th Anniversary of the Rome Treaty & 67th Anniversary of the European Union” and“EU, Turkey and the United Kingdom Panel Discussion”, which took place on April 27, 2017 at the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazit University.
Participation of professor Mataracı in these conferences in Ankara attracted the attention of international academicians and diplomats, and opened new possibilities for establishing new cooperations and connectiong IUS to other institutions at the international level.
