Rector of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Kuşakcı, recently paid an official visit to Marmara University, where he met with its Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Okur.
The meeting focused on the ongoing Double Diploma Programs between the two universities, as well as new possibilities for further developing their institutional and academic cooperation.
IUS and Marmara University currently offer Double Diploma Programs in six areas of study: Computer Engineering, Bioengineering, English Language Teaching, Law, Management and Psychology. These programs reflect the breadth of the partnership, bringing together disciplines from engineering and the social sciences to education and law.
The programs provide students with access to the academic environments, expertise and resources of both institutions. Studying in Sarajevo and Istanbul also enables them to gain valuable international, academic and cultural experience while developing the skills needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.
Through partnerships such as this one, IUS continues to strengthen the international dimension of its education and expand the opportunities available to its students. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both universities to advancing their existing programs and exploring new forms of cooperation that could benefit students, academics and the wider university communities.
