From July 1 to 2, 2026, the first Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA1) of the CYBERFORT project was successfully held in Cappadocia, Türkiye. The event was hosted and organized by project partner Cappinno Innovative Institute.
The two-day activity brought together project partners for an important phase of cooperation, exchange and capacity building. As the CYBERFORT project has now completed 18 months of implementation, LTTA1 provided an opportunity to review the progress achieved so far, discuss upcoming activities and further strengthen collaboration among consortium members.
During the event, partners focused on capacity building for training curriculum development, with special attention given to approaches relevant to vocational education and training (VET) providers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Discussions included defining learning outcomes, developing training modules, preparing assessment strategies and improving curriculum materials.
An important part of the program was dedicated to peer review sessions, during which partners evaluated draft curriculum materials and training content. These sessions provided valuable feedback and helped ensure that the future training resources are practical, relevant and aligned with the needs of target groups.
Special attention was also given to the further development and finalization of WP3 – European Cybersecurity Curriculum, one of the key components of the CYBERFORT project. Partners also discussed upcoming project activities, online coordination meetings and the next Transnational Meeting.
The CYBERFORT consortium extends its sincere appreciation to Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çolakoğlu and the entire Cappinno Innovative Institute team for their warm hospitality, excellent organization and valuable contribution to the success of LTTA1.
Beyond the professional exchange, the event also offered partners the opportunity to experience the remarkable cultural and historical heritage of the Cappadocia region. These shared moments contributed to stronger connections among project partners and enriched the overall experience beyond the formal project activities.
The successful implementation of CYBERFORT LTTA1 represents another important step forward in strengthening cooperation, advancing cybersecurity education and developing high-quality training resources for VET providers, SMEs and future learners across Europe.
