Ambassador of Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina H. E. Vefahan Ocak visited International University of Sarajevo on February 2nd 2010. The Ambassador was greeted by the Rector Prof. Dr. B. Gültekin Çetiner and the three faculty deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Korkut and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cevat Sarıoğlu.
Rector and the Deans introduced Ambassador Ocak to the IUS vision and mission, as well as talked about Mr. Ocak's experience in international relations. During the meeting, Ambassador Ocak accepted the invitation to give talk in the new Campus in Ilidža next semester and share his broad experience with IUS students.
Ambassador Ocak also enquired about the development of University and expressed his satisfaction to hear that IUS will start with the spring semester in the premises of new Campus. The visit ended with the presentation of token of appreciation to the Ambassador by the IUS Rector who also thanked Mr. Ocak for his visit.
