On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, a delegation from Bartin University, Turkiye visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). The delegation, comprising of the Rector of Bartin University, Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun and Erasmus Coordinator, Dr. Ahmet Yirmibeş, was welcomed by the IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım, IUS Secretary General, Mr. İbrahim İnal and IUS Vice-Rector for General Affairs, Asst. Prof. Muhammed Yasir Göz, MA.
The focal point of the meeting was increasing the internationalization of both universities as well as strategic cooperation between the two higher education institutions aiming at enhancing academic and administrative excellence, sharing good practices, fostering innovation and research in academia as well as exchange of academic staff and students through Erasmus+ and other exchange programs.
Both institutions pledged to maintain the high level of education they provide to their students and continue providing support to their professors in their further academic research and professional development.
