Prof. Dr. Emil Knezović, will be working on the project "Determinants and Outcomes of Different Types of Innovations in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina: The Role of Green Practices." The project aims to investigate the determinants and consequences of various types of innovations in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and establish the connection between innovations and environmental (green) practices. Other members of the project team include Asst. Prof. Dr. Hamza Smajić, a third-cycle student Aida Hamur, and a second-cycle student Neira Zulić.
The research is related to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Firstly, the research promotes innovation in SMEs, which is related to industry, innovation, and infrastructure (Goal No. 9). Additionally, the focus on green practices in the research contributes to sustainable consumption and production (Goal No. 12) and sustainable economic growth and decent work (Goal No. 8). The project is based on quantitative methods, and the team plans to conduct primary cross-sectional data collection.
The project is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of the Canton Sarajevo through the Public Call for co-financing scientific/research/artistic/research and development projects and programs from the budget of the Canton Sarajevo for the year 2023.
