In a compassionate initiative “Inhalers for Hope”, led by Dr. Altijana Hromić-Jahjefendić and Dr. Muhamed Adilović, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) forged a partnership with the charity organization "Obraduj nekoga" to raise funds for a very important cause during the month of October: the focus of this cooperative effort was to support children facing respiratory problems within families experiencing social need. Through the generous contributions of students, faculty, and well-wishers, the initiative successfully collected an amount sufficient to purchase seven inhalers.
On November 16, 2023, the culmination of this heartwarming endeavor took place as the seven inhalers were officially handed over to the charity organization "Obraduj nekoga." The event marked not only a milestone in the partnership between IUS and the charity but also a significant step towards improving the health and well-being of children facing respiratory challenges.
