International University of Sarajevo (IUS) has achieved important results in the academic year 2016-17 in the field of academic and administrative staff mobility in Europe and the world. As part of Erasmus+ cooperation, in March, April and May only, 25 members of academic and administrative staff of IUS participated in exchange in Turkey, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria and many other countries.
The staff was given the opportunity for professional development at a number of universities all over the world, where they got acquainted with working processes of relevant administrative offices, sharing of ideas, knowledge and experience. Furthermore, many members of IUS administration participated at the International Staff Week events held at the partner universities. On the other hand, IUS academics focused on visiting lectures to students of host universities.
Active participation of IUS staff in the Erasmus+ exchange has contributed to the internalization of the university and its global ranking. Currently, IUS is among the universities with the highest percentage of exchange in the current academic year 2016-17. in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
