The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) was pleased to welcome a high-level delegation from Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation during a visit hosted by Mr. Hasan Topaloğlu, President of the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo, and Associate Prof. Muhammed Yasir Göz, IUS Vice-Rector for General Affairs.
The visiting delegation included Mr. Osman Şahin, Vice President of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye; Mr. İzani Turan, General Manager of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation; and Mr. Ahmet Sait Arslan, Director of Dormitories at the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation.
During the visit, the guests met with representatives of IUS and discussed important topics related to future cooperation. Special attention was given to the planned construction and operation of the fourth dormitory building on the IUS campus, as well as to new joint projects that may be implemented between the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation and the International University of Sarajevo.
The meeting also reflected the strong educational, institutional and friendly ties between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through continued cooperation and shared initiatives, IUS remains committed to strengthening opportunities that support students, academic development and the wider educational mission of the University.
IUS extends its sincere gratitude to the distinguished guests for their kind visit and looks forward to future projects that will further strengthen the bridges of education, friendship and cooperation between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
