Twelfth year in a row, Social, Cultural, Health and Sport Activities (SACHS) Department of International University of Sarajevo (IUS) organized Spring Festival. This represents a unique opportunity for IUS to demonstrate its international dimension, where students from different countries meet, learn and become closer. This year, on May 25th, IUS has decided to share the joys of spring with academics, staff, students and children.
The program began with traditional Bosnian dance - folklore performed by children from the First Private Primary School "Isa-beg Ishaković".
As part of this unique event of diversity a huge number of activities is organized such are: sports disciplines, performing national customs, short performances, speeches, presentations, and other festive music performances.
This year Spring festival get a new dimension with free food, drinks, coffee, barbecue as well as activities for children and adults. Visitors were able to enjoy the carousel, roller coaster, paintball and carting. At the end of the festival faculty, staff and students, IUS had a chance to win many great prizes from sponsors. The main prize was a trip to Istanbul under the auspices of Turkish Airlines.
