In the period from April 27 to 29, 2011, International University of Sarajevo was honored to host a group of high school directors and professors from Republic of Turkey. During their three-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina and under the guidance of Mr. Idris Hizir from IUS Istanbul Office, guests were accommodated at the IUS Campus in Ilidza and had many interesting activities planned for them.
Upon their arrival to IUS Campus, guests were greeted by the Rector Prof. Dr. Hilmi Ünlü who, together with Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Boşnak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeki Parlak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raşit Koker and ELS Director Mrs. Hilal Karic, gave a presentation on the IUS vision, mission and study programs, as well as answered questions guest might had. Guests were also given a tour of IUS Campus premises by visiting laboratories and Sarajevo Research Centre whose construction is almost finished.
On the second and third day of their visit, trips to famous Bosnia and Herzegovinian cultural and historical spots Mostar, Blagaj, Pocitelj, Travnik and Sarajevo were organized for guests. Guest, some of which are first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina and IUS, were delighted with the trip and expressed their best wishes for International University of Sarajevo.
