As part of the English Language School (ELS) Orientation Program, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) hosted the "Substance Use Awareness" seminar at the beginning of the spring semester. This important event aims to educate new students about the medical risks associated with substance use and the legal consequences of using illegal substances.
Through informative sessions led by Associate Professor Dr. Pinar Unal-Aydin from the IUS Psychology study program, students gained valuable insights into the short- and long-term health effects of substance use and the legal framework surrounding illegal substances. The seminar also provided a space for open discussions, allowing students to ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations about making informed choices.
