IUS students visited UN ICTY

On Tuesday, 5th May, 2015, students from the International and Public Relations Program, with Senior Assistant Nerkez Opačin, visited the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (UN ICTY) in Sarajevo. The visit aimed at enabling students to gain practical knowledge of the work of UN ICTY in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hamza Preljević, senior year student at the International and Public Relations Program was organizer and coordinator of this beneficial visit. During the presentation, ICTY Registry Officer, Almir Alić introduced the students with the work of the Tribunal, major achievements and challenges that this court was facing and also the results in the domains such as legal fight against impunity for the war crimes and individualization of guilt.
