On Thursday, November 17th 2016, students of International University of Sarajevo visited European Union Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
European Student Think Tank ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Enna Zone Đonlić, together with Association of Political Science Students from IUS organised visit to the EU Delegation office in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At EU Delegation students were welcomed by the Head of Political office Mr Matthew Field and with Political and Economic Officer Mr Adnan Muminović.
Students had a chance to discuss topic like what is ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina after the EU membership application, Reform agenda, how does the Brexit influence German-British Initiative for Bosnia and Herzegovina etc. Since the structure of the talk was open discussion SPS and IR students had a chance to share their thoughts about the reaction of UK citizens and international community on Brexit as well as how they perceive the future relations between UK and EU.
In the conclusion of the discussion, since it was quite useful for students as well as for our hosts, there was a suggestion to have a new meeting were the students will be able to offer more of their perspective and insights about the relations between B&H and EU.
As Mr Field pointed out: “You, the students of the SPS and IR, are lucky due to the fact that you will be able to observe politically the most interesting events of the modern times.”
We would like to use this opportunity to thank one more time to our hosts and encourage students to take part in similar activities.
