Rector of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and Vice Rector Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ali visited the Republic of Macedonia in the period from 8 to 11 May 2015. This business trip is planned due to the Conference in Skopje and an agreed meeting with representatives of the educational institutions in Macedonia. IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu was a keynote speaker at the conference jointly organized by the FRI from Skopje and KIYADER office from Istanbul. Vice-Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ali was the moderator of the conference.
The official meeting with the member of the Macedonian Academy of Science and Arts (MANU), Prof. Dr. Numan Aruç was held in his office. Distinguished Professor Aruca exchanged experiences with Rector Oğurlu, and discussed the educational process of the students from the Republic of Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the IUS. Dr. Adnan Ismail, Executive of the Different civil society organizations in Skopje hosted a delegation of IUS, and exchanged their work experience as well. He presented the possibilities for new projects of cooperation with the IUS. During their stay in Macedonia, Rector Oğurlu and Vice Rector Ali met with also with the President of the 'Köprü' association Hüsrev Emin.
