IUS participates in the final Conference of Diaspora for Development project

On September 15th, 2021 the final conference of Diaspora for Development (D4D) project was held online via Teams platform.

The Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Hadžiabdić and IUS Office of Sponsored Projects Manager Ms. Nađa Beglerović attended the conference and spoke about increasing socioeconomic opportunities and perspectives for people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and strengthening the role of Diaspora in development processes in BiH. Prof. Hadžiabdić’s focal topic at the conference was aimed at connecting and sharing knowledge between BiH Diaspora and educational institutions as well as companies in the private economic sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

IUS organized three workshops in the framework of the project on OpenFOAM, open source CFD tool. The project “Open FOAM CFD Tool for Industrial Use” was successfully completed within the framework of Diaspora for Development project. D4D project was realized with the grant from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
