The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) has successfully completed the 2026 external surveillance audit and maintained its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification, reaffirming the University’s continued commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and effective institutional management.
During the audit, particular recognition was given to the preparedness of the administrative offices involved, the high level of staff engagement, and the University’s ongoing efforts to further digitalize its administrative and institutional processes.
The auditors also highlighted IUS’s effective quality assurance practices, accreditation initiatives, and project implementation activities, which have consistently received positive feedback from external evaluators. Administrative office representatives demonstrated a strong understanding of their respective processes, responsibilities, and associated risks, while staff professionalism across the organization was also positively recognized.
A Shared Commitment to Quality
The successful outcome reflects the continued support of the University leadership in fostering a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and institutional development.
It is also the result of the dedicated work of the General Secretariat and the commitment of all administrative offices and staff involved in the audited processes.
The preparation, coordination, and monitoring of the certification process were carried out by the Strategic Development Office, which continuously supports the University’s quality management system, national and international accreditation processes, and broader institutional development initiatives.
By successfully maintaining this internationally recognized certification, IUS once again confirms its commitment to strengthening institutional processes and providing efficient administrative support for its academic, research, and development activities.
