On Thursday and Friday, 4th and 5th May 2018, the coordinator of the SAGE project, dr. Jasminka Hasić Telalović, project assistant Mirza Rastoder and doc. dr. Nina Bosankić attended a meeting within the Horizon2020 SAGE project. The meeting was held at the ISCTE-IUL University in Lisbon, Portugal.
Within this project, IUS started with the process of implementing the Gender Equality Plan. By implementing the Gender Equality Plan, which began in early 2018, the IUS assumes a leadership role in the region as an educational institution in terms of gender policy.
At the meeting, the partners presented their activities in their institutions in their ten-minute presentations, as well as the next steps to continue the implementation of the Gender Equality Plan. Members of the Institutions implementing the Plans, with coordinators and project evaluators, have done a workshop, discussing the challenges that partners face within their institutions.
At the meeting, the details of the next project gathering were discussed, which will be hosted by the International University of Sarajevo in September 2018, welcoming partners from Trinity College Dublin, Sciences Po Bordeaux, Queens University Belfast, Brescia University, Kadir Has University and ISCTE -IUL University of Lisbon.
In addition to this activity, September at IUS will be marked as a gender-month, which will be followed by many other activities.
