Emergent Territories III - ARCH Master Students' Exhibition on Display at the IUS Art Gallery

The opening of the exhibition titled „Emergent Territories III“ was held on January 7, 2022 at the premises of the IUS Art Gallery. Talented students of the second cycle of study at the Architecture program presented their works that they prepared during the course Digital Design Studio in the Fall 2021 semester. The course was taught and mentored by Prof. Dr. Lamila Simišić-Pašić who also delivered the opening speech at the exhibition praising the students' efforts and their creativity and vision.

Exhibited works such as the “Sand Pyramid Code”, “Dandelion Shield” and the “Vivid Code”  represent an exploration of the emergent territories within the architectural domain. Students used programming languages to explore new possibilities in architecture. They curated, applied, rewrote a script to search for a solution related to feelings of security in the city, the ration between emotions and public spaces, environmental conditions, geometry and humans, drawing with codes, city’s matrix, etc.

The exhibition will be on display at the IUS Gallery for the next 10 days.
