Shape of Ideas: VACD Students Showcase Creative Excellence in 3D Design and Digital Sculpting

Shape of Ideas

Students from the Visual Arts and Visual Communications Design (VACD) program recently presented their work at an exhibition titled “Shape of Ideas,” highlighting the creativity, technical skills, and conceptual thinking developed throughout their studies.

The exhibition featured a diverse collection of projects created within the courses 3D Design 1 and Digital Sculpting 1. Visitors had the opportunity to explore a wide range of completed assignments, demonstrating students’ ability to transform abstract ideas into tangible visual forms. From imaginative character designs to detailed environmental concepts, the showcased works reflected both artistic vision and growing technical proficiency.

The students were mentored throughout the process by Associate Professor Roman Sulejmanpašić, whose guidance encouraged experimentation and helped refine their individual artistic approaches.

Throughout these projects, students engaged with industry-relevant tools and techniques, learning to navigate the full creative process - from initial concept development to final execution. The exhibition emphasized not only the aesthetic qualities of the pieces but also the problem-solving and design thinking behind each work.

“Shape of Ideas” served as a platform for students to present their progress, exchange feedback, and celebrate their achievements in a collaborative academic environment. The event also offered visitors insight into the evolving field of digital art and design, where creativity and technology intersect.

The VACD program continues to support students in developing their artistic identities while preparing them for future careers in creative industries, and this exhibition stands as a testament to their dedication and growth.
