Representatives of the largest pharmaceutical company in Bosnia and Herzegovina ''Bosnalijek” visited the International University of Sarajevo on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Secretary General of the IUS, Emir Hadžikadunić, Assistant to Director of the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF), Armin Kerić and Public Relations Manager, Goran Valka welcomed distinguished guests in the Rectorate. On behalf of the Bosnalijek company Director of the Corporate Marketing, Tarik Čatić with associates Public Relations Office Director, Zinaida Babović and Corporate Business Development Director, Igor Martinović attended the meeting.
Representatives of Bosnalijek offered cooperation on academic and corporate level to IUS. They first expressed readiness to receive IUS students for their internship and offer selected lab facilities to IUS professors and researches. During the meeting, representatives of Bosnalijek raised the issue longer term academic collaboration based on mutual academic and research interest. In this respect, they agreed to send their proposal of mutual collaboration to IUS authorities. Founded in 1951, Bosnalijek dd (Bosnalijek) is the largest industrial producer of medicines in Bosnia and Herzegovina with an extensive production program that includes 147 drugs based on 83 different generic names.
