FBA Brings Together Academic Staff and Industry Professionals at First Advisory Board Meeting

First FBA Advisory Board meeting

The Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) recently welcomed distinguished professionals from sectors connected to its study programs for the Faculty’s first Advisory Board meeting.

This important meeting marked the beginning of a more formalized framework for strengthening FBA’s long-standing cooperation with professionals and organizations from different sectors. By bringing academic staff and experienced practitioners together, the Faculty took another meaningful step toward reinforcing the connection between higher education, contemporary industry perspectives, and the evolving needs of the professional environment.

During the meeting, representatives of the Faculty presented FBA’s current activities, as well as some of the opportunities and challenges shaping today’s educational and business landscape. In turn, the members of the newly formed Advisory Board shared valuable insights on current trends, workplace expectations, and the knowledge, skills, and competencies increasingly sought across different industries.

The discussion was held in an open and constructive atmosphere, creating a valuable platform for dialogue, exchange of ideas, and future cooperation. The perspectives shared by Advisory Board members will contribute to the Faculty’s future activities and initiatives, while also supporting the continued development of study programs that remain relevant, practice-oriented, and responsive to the realities of the labor market.

The first FBA Advisory Board meeting reflects the Faculty’s commitment to continuous improvement, stronger cooperation with the professional community, and the creation of educational opportunities that prepare students for the demands of a rapidly changing business world.
