Students at the IUS Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA) had the opportunity to attend a valuable guest lecture during their Consumer Behavior class on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The session featured Mr. Kemal Kečo, Sales Director at Infobip, who shared practical insights from his extensive professional experience in international markets.

Titled “We Sold the Same Thing a Thousand Times – A Thousand Customers Bought a Different Thing,” the lecture offered students a thought-provoking perspective on sales, customer perception, communication, and the importance of understanding consumer needs in today’s dynamic business environment.

Drawing on his experience working across the MENA region and Europe, Mr. Kečo highlighted an important business lesson: customers do not simply buy products or services, but rather solutions to their specific needs, concerns, and expectations. Through this approach, students were encouraged to think more deeply about the psychology behind purchasing decisions and the role of empathy, perception, and communication in building strong relationships with customers.

Using practical examples and real-life case studies from Infobip, Mr. Kečo successfully connected key concepts from consumer behavior with everyday business practice. His lecture gave students the opportunity to see how theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom can be applied in real professional settings, making the session both highly relevant and inspiring.
