The Faculty of Law (FLW) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) organized the event “Kick Start Your Legal Career” on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, bringing together current law students and alumni of the Faculty for an inspiring and insightful discussion on the first steps toward building a successful legal career.
The event created a valuable space for students to hear directly from graduates of the Faculty of Law about their professional journeys after graduation, the challenges they encountered, and the lessons they learned along the way. Through this exchange, students gained practical guidance and a clearer understanding of how to approach important career decisions and begin shaping their own professional paths in the legal field.
During the discussion, alumni shared useful advice on job searching, preparing strong applications, performing successfully in interviews, and making the most of opportunities available during university studies. Their reflections offered students not only practical information, but also encouragement and motivation as they begin planning their future careers.
Events such as this highlight the importance of maintaining strong connections between alumni and current students, while also reinforcing the Faculty’s commitment to supporting students beyond the classroom through meaningful professional guidance and mentorship.
