BITA4Students at IUS

IUS Lifelong Learning Center, together with the CS and SE study programs at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS), in cooperation with BIT Alliance organized first in a series of lectures “BITA4Students”. Lecture titled “Managing Software Projects” took place on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at the International University of Sarajevo.

Guest lecturer was Anita Zubac-Numić who is the engagement manager at Comtrade.

In addition to the IUS students and staff, students of BH universities attended the lecture, as well as employees of IT companies based in the Sarajevo Canton.

In his opening remarks Dr. Muhamed Hadziabdić, Vice-Dean of FENS, welcomed the audience and underlined the importance of linking higher education institutions in particular research activities and industry.

Ms. Anita Zubac- Numić talked about managing software projects in Comtrade, and then at the end of the session answered questions from audience.

The lecture was a great opportunity for students to learn firsthand from a managing person in the IT sector about planning, implementation, management, and software projects monitoring.
Next BITA4Students session, titled “Artificial Intelligence” is scheduled at the IUS on April 24, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. Guest lecturer will be Sumeja Doljančić, company Klika, Sarajevo.
