On December 14th, 2016, the third traditional manifestation „Mercy to the Worlds“ was held at IUS, with the aim of remembering the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) and his birth. Following our practice, and by offering a quality program including nasheeds and recitals performed in four different languages, members of EMSA club gave their best to express their love towards the Prophet.
In the beginning of the programme, Mahir Patković recited one part of the Qur'an, the presenter Merjem Brković greeted the audience, and expressed her deepest condolences and recited Al-Fatiha for the current crisis happening in Aleppo, and for all the martyrs of the Islamic World where lives of Muslims were jeopardised. Throughout the whole programme, a simultaneous translation was provided by Amina Adilović for all of those who do not understand Bosnian.
The guest of the manifestation was Hfz. Prof. Dr. Safvet Halilović who gave a lecture on „Boys and Girls from the time when our Prophet lived“.
Professor Halilović, using his well-known style of narrating, made the attendees revaulate their lives and its purpose.
At the very end of the programme, professor posed a few questions and rewarded all of those who answered them correctly. These rewards were the books that he wrote himself.
Female members of EMSA club prepared little presents with hadiths of the Prophet attached to them, and gave them to all the visitors after the end of the programme.
