Students and professors from the Second Gymnasium in Varaždin visited the International University of Sarajevo on Saturday, April 12th, 2014. The guests from Croatia were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs at IUS, Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Hadžiabdić and Secretary General of IUS Emir Hadžikadunić.
Vice-Rector Hadžiabdić and Secretary General Hadžikadunić spoke about the benefits of studying at IUS, and introduced them to current activites, achievements and results of IUS. Students also had the opportunity to visit the Research and Development Center of IUS.
In a short expose, Asst. Prof. Dr. Emir Karamehmedović practically showed the students how the laboratories work. ''It is significant to say that this visit is a continuation of a successful cooperation we have with the Second Gymnasium in Varaždin. We are proud of the fact that during the year of 2014, we will have new prospective students coming from Croatia'' said Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Hadžiabdić.
