On Wednesday, August 31st, 2016, Prof. Dr. Metin Boşnak held a lecture about Reality and Propaganda in relation to recently failed coup attempt in Turkey. Prof. Dr. Boşnak started this lecture with a literature definition of propaganda and historical context of the word itself. He also made connection to military coups in the past in Turkish Republic as well as those in other parts of the world and their effect on the world we live in. He gave insight into the moments of coup taking place and shared testimonies of those involved.
At the end he gave revision on questions about potential coups in other parts of the world where Gullenist organizations have influence by explaining hierarchy of the organization and how organization got ground and worked undercover for many years.
