Representatives of the Centre for Balkans and Middle East Studies are organizing “Days of Palestinian Culture” in Collegium Artisticum, from November 21st to November 24th. Regarding this event, Dr. Mohammad Hamad, general manager of the Centre, visited the Department of Arts. During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation on this event were discussed. Dean of FASS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Bal, proposed interesting possibilities for cooperation and events that will take place during the program, that is consisted of the art exhibitions, music and theatre performing, and panels for discussions.
Academics and master students of VACD will offer support with the set up of art work and participate in the program. The art work from the latest exhibition from Department of Arts “Failed Coup: People for Democracy” will be exhibited during the event. The illustrations of M. Furkan Hizir, Tanja Curic, and infographics of Emir Hambo are, also, going to be exhibited in Collegium Artisticum during the “Days of Palestinian Culture”.
The students and academics of IUS are invited to visit the events, exhibitions, and meet with four artists that are coming from Palestine on this occasion.
