On May 6, 2022, Mrs. Sibela Beširević and Mr. Semir Fočić from the International University of Sarajevo, took part in the High School and Faculty Fair 2022 in Tešanj. This is the seventh fair Tešanj municipality has organized for its students. The guests had a chance to hear about IUS, the programs it offers and about the international double diploma programs of IUS and Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and IUS and Istanbul University (IU). The students were invited to apply for the second round of scholarship testing that is scheduled for May 28, 2022.
Mrs. Beširević and Mr. Fočić also presented the Intervet Western Balkans project and motivated third and fourth grade students to apply for the internships abroad. The Intervet WB is a 3-year pilot project for the internationalization of vocational education and training system in the Western Balkans. The IUS Life-Lifelong Learning Center of the International University of Sarajevo is a partner of this EU project for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project aims at creating opportunities for learning mobility in the training centers of Western Balkans and improving the culture of learning mobility in the field of VET.
Apart from that, Beširević and Fočić introduced the Joint Hosting project and informed the guests that the first group of Italian high school students is coming to Sarajevo on May 23, 2022. They will be working in different companies in Sarajevo for a period of one month.
