Six students from the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) recently participated in an Erasmus+ exchange program at ISCPA - Institut Supérieur des Médias in Lyon, France. The group included Naida Čampara, Nadia Purdić, Merjem Osmanagić, and Jusuf Mehmedćehajić from the Media and Communication program, along with Amer Tanović and Selma Fatić from the Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design program. They were accompanied by Assist. Prof. Dr. Emir Hambo and International Relations Office Manager Mr. Mugdim Alihodžić as part of the "Understanding Diversity to Communicate Better" project.
Adding to the experience, Haris Buljubašić, a digital presenter from Al Jazeera Balkans, delivered inspiring lectures to ISCPA’s undergraduate and master's students. Throughout the week, IUS students collaborated with their French peers in international teams, analyzing cultural perspectives, stereotypes, and consumer behavior—a continuation of their online research. Beyond academic discussions, they explored Lyon’s rich cultural scene, visiting museums, galleries, and historical landmarks.
The exchange will continue in Sarajevo, where ISCPA students will visit IUS to deepen their research while immersing themselves in Bosnian culture. Additionally, IUS representatives held meetings with the IGENSIA Group to discuss potential partnerships and future collaborations.
This Erasmus+ project continues to provide students with invaluable academic and cultural experiences, fostering global understanding and strengthening international educational ties.
