On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım, Deputy Secretary General for Legal and Administrative Affair, Mr. Jahja Imamović and Acting Manager of the IUS International Relations Office, Mr. Mugdim Alihodžić visited the newly-appointed Director of the Directorate for Religious Affairs of Riyasat of Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mensur Malkić.
The visit was organized on the occasion of the appointment of Dr. Malkić to the position of Director of the Directorate for Religious Affairs. Prof. Dr. Yıldırım congratulated Dr. Malkić on the appointment to this important position in the Islamic Community. Director Malkić expressed his appreciation for the visit and very successful cooperation between IUS and the Islamic Community institutions.
One of the topics discussed during the visit was possible cooperation between the Directorate for Religious Affairs and the International University of Sarajevo.
