International University of Sarajevo (IUS) gave farewell to the 7th generation of I, II and III cycle of graduates on Saturday, June 13, 2015. 244 graduates of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) were promoted at this occasion. Among distinguished guests, prominent members of the diplomatic corps, people from cultural, economic, social and political life of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Turkey as well as parents, friends and their family members attended this important event.
IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu specially greeted all IUS graduates. “This time you close one chapter of your life and open another phase.” He wished them promising and fulfilling future, professional and academic success. At the end, he asked them to thank their families for their dedication and support and to keep good memory of IUS. The President of Foundation, Hasan Topaloğlu also addressed the audience and welcomed all the graduates. ‘’To graduates who got their degrees today as a result of many years of studies, I wish those to be of use to them. I wish that the knowledge they acquired will be beneficial to their families, society, and the whole world’’.
Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Cihad Erginay also greeted the graduates. ''This is a special day and you will surely remember it with a smile on your face all your life, not because you are young, but because this is a turning point for you that will change your life forever''. At the end of the Ceremony, the best students of all three faculties were announced:
