IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu visited the Federal Ministry of Education and Science with his associates on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Federal Minister for Education and Science, Dr. Sc. Elvira Dilberović welcomed the delegation in her office. During this return visit, they talked about the current issues in education and science in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular emphasis on higher education and priority actions aimed at creating the necessary preconditions for a stronger and better development of this important sector, and planned programs and projects of the Ministry for this year. On an earlier visit to the University, Minister Dilberović proposed an improvement of cooperation between the Ministry and the IUS as accredited higher education institution in the implementation of joint projects that are of wider social benefit. Vice Rector Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ali and Secretary General of the IUS, Emir Hadžikadunić attended this meeting, as well as Dr. Diana Gupta, a professor at the University Džemal Bijedić and president of the Atlantic Council.
